Forms
Create, publish, integrate, and review form responses without losing consent or lead context.
Create a form
Open Sites → Forms and choose New form, or start from an available template. Name it for its purpose and audience. In Builder, add the minimum fields needed to deliver the promised outcome.
Use the correct field type, human-readable label, helpful validation, and accessible instructions. Mark a field required only when submission cannot be handled without it.
Consent and privacy
Explain what happens after submission and how information will be used. Add required consent text and keep marketing permission distinct from a request that is necessary to provide the service. Do not collect passwords, full payment-card information, private keys, or unnecessary sensitive data in a general form.
Integrations and follow-up
Use the form’s Integrations view to configure supported destinations. Map fields deliberately and define duplicate behavior. If a workflow sends confirmation or follow-up, test what happens when required contact information is absent, invalid, duplicated, or suppressed.
Test the complete response path
- Preview the form on desktop and mobile.
- Submit valid, invalid, incomplete, and duplicate test data.
- Verify error messages and keyboard navigation.
- Confirm the success state or redirect.
- Open Responses and inspect the saved submission.
- Verify the resulting CRM record, ownership, integration, and automation.
- Remove or label test responses.
Analyze and maintain
Use the available response and analytics views to compare visits, starts, submissions, and downstream outcomes without equating them automatically. Review forms after product, policy, staffing, integration, or field changes. Retire unused forms and remove them from public pages before deletion.
