## Your outcome

One small asset—agent, workflow, sequence, email, form, page, funnel, webinar, SEO project, or social post—works end to end with internal data and has a named monitoring owner.

## Checklist

1. Choose one business outcome and write its audience, trigger, destination, success evidence, owner, and stop condition.
2. Confirm the [CRM record model](/crm/records-and-imports/) and custom fields your asset will read or write.
3. Connect the minimum provider using [Integrations](/integrations/).
4. Build in the relevant module: [Chat & Voice](/chat-and-voice/), [Automations](/automations/), [Email](/email/), [Sites](/sites/), [SEO](/seo/), [Social Media](/social-media/), or [Reputation](/reputation/).
5. Use approved brand, factual, consent, and policy sources.
6. Test valid, missing, invalid, duplicate, opt-out, provider-failure, and handoff cases.
7. Inspect the downstream record, thread, execution, published destination, or provider item.
8. Complete the [first-launch checklist](/getting-started/first-launch/) and start with a limited audience.

## Build for maintainers

Use descriptive internal names, keep factual content in owned sources, document critical variables and fallbacks, minimize branches, and explain where failures appear. Link customer commitments to tasks rather than leaving them only in a report or conversation.

## After launch

Review customer outcomes separately from delivery metrics. Capture the effective time of material changes. Change one major variable at a time, retest affected paths, and retire outdated sources or assets so operators do not choose the wrong version.
